DM Textile Implements a Large-Scale Modernization Investment Project.

Konstantin Kuzin, General Director, Megapolis Group Holding Company, showed to Vasily Golubev and the participants of the meeting the key manufacturing areas of Donetzkaya Manufaktura Factory that were modernized as part of the large-scale investment project.

“During the last year three large looms were installed at the factory that cost 50 million RUR each. In the new economic conditions our company’s high-quality products are in demand, and theirs is no problem with trading. The company is not only going to keep its achievements, but also has good prospects for the further development”, - said Vasily Golubev.

As Konstantin Kuzin said, the implementation of the 15-Year Strategic Modernization Program turned Donetzkaya Manufaktura Factory into one of the best European textile enterprises.

“Since 2001 total investment into reconstruction and improvement of the factory’s technological equipment made up 70 mln EUR. The cost of some high-tech equipment units that were produced by world best manufacturers exceeds 1 mln RUR. Over the last two years 700 mln RUR were invested in technical upgrading which made it possible to increase our production capacity by 50%. Today DM Textile’s share in the Russian terry goods production is about 70%”, - Konstantin Kuzin said. The participant visited modernized weaving, dyeing and finishing, prep and sewing production areas, the areas of final finishing and packaging; they also visited the new finished product storage area and the renovated sanitary facilities of the main production area.
