«Made in Russia» label may become a global brand. The Ministry of Industry and Trade announced establishing a new quality label for Russian goods. The government promises to grant special privileges and invest into the light industry. The authorities hope that these measures will help to revive Russian light industry. Does the Business believe in it? The interview to the Russian Business Newspaper was given by Konstantin Kuzin, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Megapolis Group Holding Company.

On the 1st of November a traditional Golf Tournament “The Ducks are Flying” for media representatives took place in Golf & Country Club “Don”. This championship has been held under the aegis of the Megapolis Group Holding Company for already 6 years and this time it was held on the occasion of the company’s 20th anniversary. The leading mass media representatives of the Don region gathered on the golf course to fight for the Cup and just to have fun and enjoy themselves in a good company.

DM Textile has joined the list of enterprises, that were honoured with the right to mark their goods with a “Made on Don” label. Following the results of a strict contest, the leading enterprises of the South of Russia will be the first to put the new Quality label on their goods that had successfully went through the voluntary certification procedure.

As part of Megapolis Group’s 20th Anniversary Celebration Konstantin Kuzin was awarded the Certificate of Merit of the Rostov region Legislative Assembly for considerable contribution to development and implementation of the social and economic policy of the Rostov region, as well as for many years of dedicated work.

The celebration ceremony marking the 20th anniversary of Megapolis Group Holding Company took place on September, 19. The event was emceed by the wonderful Kvartet I Theatre performers. They were definitely in great shape that night making everyone laugh and keeping the cheerful atmosphere.

Sheraton Rostov-on-Don Hotel & Business Center will boost hotel business development and tourists flows in the Southern Federal District. This world class development project is now being carried out in Rostov-on-Don by Megapolis Group Holding Company. Vasiliy Golubev, Governor of Rostov oblast, visited the site as part of his survey of the objects that are now being constructed in course of the preparation for the Football Championship 2018. The Head of our region examined the construction progress and highly appreciated the accomplished work.

The South-Western Sberbank of Russia summed up the results of its cooperation with Megapolis Group in 2012 by presenting its partner a special Reliable Partner Award. Viktor Ventimilla Alonso, Chairman of the South-Western bank of Sberbank of Russia, presented the corresponding certificate to Konstantin Kuzin, Chairman of Board of Directors, Megapolis Group.

On the 13th-14th of May the executives of Lindauer DORNIER GmbH (one of the world’s leaders in manufacturing equipment production) visited two structural units of Megapolis Group Holding Company – Donetskaya Manufactura factory and Waterfall PRO factory.

On April, 24, Denis Manturov, Head of Ministry of Industry and Trade, gave a speech at the “Government Hour” and reported to the deputies on performance of his agency.

The International Conference “Moving to Success. Ahead of Time. Beyond the Distances”, organized by VTB Bank, was held in Rostov-on-Don on April 5. It was attended by representatives of Southern Federal District leading companies, VTB Bank Management and VTB Capital Plc. financial analysts.

On the 7th of March Konstantin Kuzin, Chairman of board of Directors of DM Textile Trading & Industrial Company, took part in the conference on the situation in light industry and its raw materials supply, which was held in Vologda and chaired by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. Heads of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Agriculture, Federal Customs Service and also a number of leading designers and representatives of national manufactures and trade networks participated in the meeting.

Konstantin Kuzin, Head of the Board of Directors of Megapolis Group Holding company, was awarded the Medal “For Valorous Labor for the Good of the Don Land”.

In January, 2013 DM Textile Trading & Industrial Company took part in the most prestigious European textile exhibition «Heimtextil» for the 11th time. The exhibition traditionally takes place in Frankfurt on the Main (Germany).
